Finishes :

Torch Tar APP membrane is available in three basic finishes.

• Black smooth finish with PE ( Polyethylene ) surfaces for covered applications.

• Granule surfacing for exposed application.

• Fine sanded upper surface for coated systems.

Applications :

Torch Tar is installed by torch welding method, fully bonded to substrate.

• Its a highly elastic product, cures to a rubber like membrane capable of withstanding severe cases of expansion , contraction and deck movements.

• The surface must be clean and free from dirt , gravel and oil. The concrete should be dry and smooth. Apply directly over concrete or old dry asphalt. The coating is applied strait from the container using standard roofing brushes, squeegees or airless spray equipment at the recommended coverage rates.
• Apply the First coat at the rate of 500 micron thickness. Let it dry fully (minimum 4-6 hrs ), then apply the second coat ( 500 microns thickness)
• Allow the coating to dry fully before going for any other work on it.

• Surface Preparation: Clean Surface To Be Treated From Oil, Grease And Loose Particles And Cracks Duly Repaired With Dry-Filler. If It Is A Metal Surface Remove Rust And Contamination For Better Protection Using Corrosion Resistant Primer Prior To The Application.
• Apply Primer Coat Of Diluted Seal Stop Ac With Water (75:25 By Weight ) With A Brush , Spray Or Roller.
• When The Prime Coat Is Completely Dried, Apply Minimum Two Coats Of Undiluted Seal Stop Ac.
• It Is Of Utmost Importance To Ensure That Each Coat Is Fully Cured ( I.E., 8 Hrs Drying Time ) Before The Application Of Next Coat.
• Use Fibre Glass Reinforcing Mat Embedded Into First Coat While Still Wet Mainly At Expansion Areas And Joint With Parapet For Better Results. All Brushes And Tools Should Be Cleaned Immediately After Use.

• On site mixing is needed. Mix Seal Stop C2 powder with Seal Stop C2 liquid by using a slow speed drill fitted with suitable blade. Mix only the quantity which can be applied within 20-30 minutes of mixing.no water should be added.
• The mixing shall be done for a minimum of 3 minutes and maximum of 5 minutes to achieve a homogenous consistency.
